The number of airlines currently operating flights to Heydar Aliyev International Airport has reached 20. This was reported by the press service of Baku Airport.
In addition to the national air carrier AZAL and its subsidiary low-cost airline Buta Airways, such large airlines as Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Aeroflot, S7, flyDubai, as well as low-cost airlines Pegasus, SkyUp Airlines and a number of other carriers have resumed flights to the country or are going to fly.
The total number of destinations on which flights are operated is 37 (information as of July 2021). Azerbaijan Airlines accounts for nine destinations (about 24% of the total number of flights).
