The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the “Temporary Rules for the Organization of Flights and Passenger Transportation by Air in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.” According to the amendment, all airlines operating flights to Azerbaijan will accept passengers on the following conditions: Foreigners and stateless persons: – Passengers over 18 years old only need a COVID-19 passport (document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to coronavirus) and a document confirming a negative PCR test for COVID-19, issued within 72 hours before departure; – passengers whose close relatives are citizens of Azerbaijan (one of the parents, sister, brother, husband, wife, child, grandfather, grandmother and grandson / granddaughter), as well as family members of such passengers (husband, wife, parents, children) must provide documents confirming the degree of relationship and a document confirming a negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, issued within 72 hours before departure; – Passengers aged 1 to 18 years old require a document confirming a negative result of a PCR test for COVID-19, issued within 72 hours before departure.
