Azerbaijan and Pakistan can establish regular passenger flights without restrictions to any airports of the two countries after the opening of international flights, said President of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Jahangir Asgarov.
According to AZAL, the opening of direct flights after coronavirus (COVID-19) between Pakistan and Azerbaijan has long been in demand. This will reduce travel time to less than three hours.
The opening of direct flights will serve as an additional incentive for the development of tourism and business relations between the two countries.
It should be noted that more than 40 thousand Pakistani citizens visited Azerbaijan in 2019, and this number is likely to continue to grow with the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lifting of restrictions on international flights.
