Azerbaijan and the World Bank are developing a new project aimed at improving the railways and logistics of cargo transportation in the country (Azerbaijan Railways & Logistics Modernization Program).
This was reported by the World Bank office in Azerbaijan.
The bank said that the total cost of the project is estimated at $800 million (indicative), of which $400 million (preliminary indicative figures) should be allocated by the World Bank.
“If the parties agree, the project will be aimed at modernizing the Baku-Northern border railway line,” the bank said.
