On October 18, the brave Azerbaijani army liberated the Khudafarin bridge, a world famous historical and architectural monument located in the Jabrayil region. Khudafarin bridge is one of the greatest engineering structures of its time, a magnificent historical monument located on the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Taking into account the exceptional universal value, unique landscape, high architectural and engineering solutions, as well as its location on the territory of the two countries, Azerbaijan intends to take measures to include the Khudafarin Bridge in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
