Azerbaijan was presented as a new destination at the Slow Food Travel online forum held on March 6.
This was reported by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ABT).
The meeting, organized by Slow Food’s Terra madre network, was also attended by ABT CEO Florian Sengstschmid.
Florian Sengstschmid said that the forum participants came to the idea of holding the Slow Food project in Azerbaijan and the opportunities existing in the country in this direction.
The general director noted that the main goal of the project is to offer tourists visiting the country at any time of the year, dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine, distinguished by a unique taste and quality, as well as a demonstration of their cooking.
