Azerbaijan visa for Iran citizens available: at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport Baku (GYD), Online via e-visa system or in Embassy.

Citizens of the Iran will visit Azerbaijan on a simplified procedure. Residents of this country can obtain entry visa upon arrival at GYD. The Azerbaijan visa on arrival is valid for only 30 days and provides a single entry.

To obtain a single entry visa upon arrival at the airport citizens should present the following documents to the visa section the following documents:

  • Valid passport or other travel document which should have at least one clear page for the visa. A passport must be valid for no less than three months after the date of your planned departure from Azerbaijan;
  • Boarding pass;
  • Visa fee: 20 USD.

In January 2017, the ASAN visa portal was launched in Azerbaijan. For a length of stay in the country of up to 30 days, a one-time electronic visa can be obtained from the portal and is available after payment and sent directly to the applicant’s e-mail.

Applications for electronic visas via the portal are intended for individuals, families (at least 2, maximum 10 people) and groups (minimum 10, maximum 300 people). The simplification of visa procedures has had a positive impact on the flow of tourists into the country.
