The European Union has added 11 countries, including Azerbaijan, to the list of states from which travel to the EU countries is allowed. This decision was made at a meeting of the EU ambassadors.
Added to the list are Canada, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Jordan, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Last year, non-essential travel to EU countries was restricted due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The Safe Travel List is not mandatory for EU member states, but it does show which countries the restrictions apply to.
