Taking into account the increase in the import of fertilizers from Turkmenistan and the import of grain from Kazakhstan, it is planned to build terminals for the transshipment of mineral products and grain. This was announced during an online meeting between the management of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC and members of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce.
It was also noted that, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the port’s turnover increased by 20%
The port of Baku is deepening cooperation with European partners: projects are being implemented with the EU to develop human capital, and with the OSCE – on digitalization and the “green” port.
