Baku Metro closes due to quarantine

In connection with a sharp increase in the number of patients with coronavirus (COVID-19), the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan decided to introduce a number of restrictions within the framework of a special quarantine regime.
As reported in the Operational Headquarters, from 00:00 on October 19 to 06:00 on November 2, the work of the Baku Metro will be suspended. Also, from October 19 to November 2, vacations are announced in all educational institutions.
In addition, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the number of employees of state structures is reduced to 30%, the rest are transferred to a remote mode of work. The private sector is also encouraged to apply this rule.
