Work on the construction of the Laki-Gabala railway is planned to be completed by November this year. This was reported by Natavan Bayramova, head of the press service of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
The total length of the new railway including branches is 44.5 kilometers. The Laki-Gabala road is laid through a territory with a difficult natural relief, 7 bridges, 6 automobile tunnels, one overpass, two crossings for animals, 106 drain pipes and other engineering structures have been built.
It is planned to commission the road by the end of 2020.
