According to the press service of the Georgian National Tourism Administration in February 2020, most international visits to Georgia were made from neighboring countries. Most of all, Georgia traveled from Azerbaijan (+ 12.8%) – only 94,219 visitors, which is 10.7 thousand more than in February 2019.
Compared to other neighboring countries, the rate of visitors from Russia is the lowest. Moreover, according to statistics from the Ministry of the Interior, the number of Russians visiting Georgia in February fell by almost a quarter.
