A new project is being implemented in Baku to protect schoolchildren and ensure the safety of pedestrians.
According to the head of the press service of the Baku Transport Agency Mais Agayev, warning notices about the need to reduce the speed and the presence of a school have been written on the roads around 7 secondary schools. Speed bumps have been installed at three schools to slow down drivers, and sidewalks at 206 schools have been repaired.
By the end of the year, 7 more Baku schools will have their transport speed optimized and new signs installed.
