After the relaxation of the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan, the passenger traffic on route lines in Baku increased sharply. This was announced by the press secretary of the Baku Transport Agency Mais Agayev.
According to him, the increase in the number of passengers is due to the cancellation of SMS-permissions: “On the day of cancellation of SMS-permits on January 18, the number of passengers in Baku increased by 12%. Compared to the same day of the previous week, the number of passengers increased by 200,000. But, despite this, there was no heavy passenger traffic, since in accordance with the preliminary plan, the number of buses on the routes, as well as reserve buses, was increased.
