Reconstruction of the Baku-Shamakhy-Muganly-Ismayilli-Gabala highway on the Muganly-Ismayilli-Gabala section has begun. This was reported by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
The existing two-lane road will be expanded to four lanes. The main objectives of the project include: increasing the traffic volume and carrying capacity of the road, reducing the number of road accidents, travel time and transportation costs.
