Salon series - a series of events to promote the tourism potential of Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency (ASTA) and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) launched the Salon series – a series of events to promote the tourism potential of Azerbaijan.
PwC Managing Partner Movlan Pashayev, Head of British Business Group Azerbaijan and former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Sekuta spoke at the event.
Robert Sekuta noted the special role of tourism in the development of the non-oil sector. He spoke about the places in Azerbaijan included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Shahdag winter-summer tourist complex that meets international standards.
During the event, the great tourist potential of the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the long-term Armenian occupation was also noted.
