President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the Hadrut-Jabrail-Shukurbeyli highway.
The foundation was laid on March 15 during the trip of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva to Fizuli and Khojavend regions.
The specified road starts from the settlement of Hadrut, passes through the Jabrayil region and in the village of Shukurbeyli connects with the Hajigabul-Minjivan-Zangezur highway.
The road will be 43 kilometers long and will consist of 4 lanes. Road bridges will be built along the road.
