The moratorium on fishing ends on September 1

Due to the spawning period, the fishing in Azerbaijan moratorium ends on September 1.
The State Environmental Security Service together with the Water Transport Police Department warns citizens wishing to engage in industrial fishing in Azerbaijan that they must use only fishing gear not prohibited by law.
Persons wishing to engage in commercial fishing must contact the Service Center No. 5 “ASAN” and obtain the appropriate permission. Floating vessels must be properly registered and daily fishing must be recorded in a log containing information on fish caught and other aquatic biological resources.
