Coronavirus had a negative impact on the tourism and hotel business, as well as on many other services. Currently, tourists prefer to stay home than travel and walk.
This was announced by the chairman of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of Azerbaijan Samir Dubendi. According to him, the monitoring carried out shows that coronavirus negatively affected tourism.
“For example, due to preventive measures, restaurants located in the city center and mainly focusing on visiting tourists are experiencing a difficult period, their business has weakened significantly. Not only tourists but also local residents have become less likely to visit restaurants,” Dubendi said.
