The restriction on entry / exit from Baku is canceled

As a result of the preventive measures taken in connection with the introduction of a special quarantine regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the responsible behavior of citizens, the spread of COVID-19 was limited, the number of infections decreased. Thanks to this, starting from August 5, some restrictions previously introduced under the strict quarantine regime in cities and regions have been lifted.
In particular, from 00:00 on September 8, 2020, Azerbaijan made a decision to abolish restrictions on exit and entry to Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron region (with the exception of intercity and interdistrict passenger transportation).
