The road from the city of Fuzuli to the city of Shusha is planned to be asphalted by the end of August 2021. Saleh Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, stated this.
The project was redesigned, and as a result of the planned construction of tunnels and bridges on the mountainous sections of the route, the length of the road was reduced from 101.5 to 84.6 kilometers (by 17 kilometers). The total length of all tunnels will be about 3 kilometers.
