The Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA) has opened a “From Village to City” (Kənddən Şəhərə) center in Baku, which will become a platform for direct contacts between consumers and farmers.
The center was established by TİKA in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
The purpose of such centers is to provide consumers with an opportunity to buy products at low prices from the producers themselves, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture said. According to the minister, the center has complied with all safety standards against the backdrop of a pandemic.
