The Turkish authorities intend to build a railway that will connect the territory of the country with Nakhchivan, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismayiloglu said.
It was decided to build a railway to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is an exclave of Azerbaijan and cut off from it by the territory of Armenia, according to Karaismailoglu, after the latest events in the region. Construction will begin after the completion of preliminary studies.
