The National Football Association of Azerbaijan (AFFA) announced that up to 50% of spectators will be admitted to the UEFA EURO 2020 matches in Baku. “At a joint meeting of the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the local organizing committee of EURO 2020, taking into account the recommendations of UEFA and the current pandemic situation in Baku, it was decided to allow up to 50% of fans for each match,” the statement said.
At the same time, it is noted that the decision concerns not only local football fans, but also foreign citizens of those countries whose national teams play at UEFA EURO 2020, provided that all requirements for obtaining visas are met. The matches will be held subject to sanitary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. on the federation website
