Starting this year, prices for flour produced by business entities in the domestic market from imported food grains have been brought in line with the current price for food wheat in the world market. As a result, there is a change in prices for flour and traditional (round) bread. According to the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in this regard, the service has strengthened control measures. As part of preventive measures, the public service in this direction organized meetings with grain importers, as well as flour and bread producers, who were warned about the inadmissibility of abuse of the situation.
