The matches of the European Football Championship 2020 (UEFA EURO 2020) in Baku will be visited by three times more tourists than during the final of the Europa League 2019. This was stated by the vice-president of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Elkhan Mammadov.
“Last year’s final of the Europa League in Baku in three days attracted 38,000 foreign citizens to the capital. In connection with the scale of the tournament this year, this figure will triple” E. Mammadov said.
