According to Armenian media reports, archaeological finds near the fortress in Shahbulag were transported to a “safe place”. It should be noted that along with carrying out illegal archaeological works, the Armenians carried out a historical forgery – changing the name of Shahbulag to “Tigranakert”.
The Shahbulag fortress is the second fortress built on the territory of Karabakh by the great statesman, Panahali Khan in 1751-52.
