Azerbaijan’s travel companies owed more than 1 million manats to local hotels with which they cooperate. This was announced by the vice-president of the Association of Hotels of Azerbaijan (AOA) Elgyun Mammadov.
“Given that there are about 700 hotels in the country and taking an average debt of 10,000 manats for each hotel, an amount of 700,000 manats looms. But I can say with certainty that the debt to some hotels amounts to hundreds of thousands of manats So it can be said that the amount of debt exceeds 1 million manats, “he said
