During the quarantine, over 21 million passengers used public transport, and 1 million 744 thousand passengers used to express buses that ran between metro stations. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the Baku Transport Agency (BTA) Vusal Karimli.
The head of BTA said that to solve the issue of transport communication with the villages, about 200 new buses were additionally allocated, thus about 1700-1750 buses are currently involved.
