In January 2020, 1,183 tourists from China arrived in Azerbaijan, and in general, the number of Chinese tourists visiting our country increased by 54.2%.
This was reported by Orkhan Badalov, press secretary of the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan. According to him, in 2020, about 40,000 tourists from China were expected, but the spread of coronavirus has changed not only the plans of Azerbaijan but also many countries regarding the Chinese market.
