On the instructions of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice-President and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a group of specialists started work on a project to restore religious monuments and mosques destroyed by the Armenians in the liberated territories.
The head of the Austrian company Atelier Erich Pummer GmbH, architect Erich Pummer visited the Agdam mosque and assessed its current state.
Also, work has begun on the restoration of religious places of worship in Shusha and Aghdam regions, destroyed during the years of occupation.
