During the 44-day Patriotic War, the enemy fired at Azerbaijani lands from artillery and rocket launchers, including the territory of the Terter region. As a result, Terter’s road infrastructure suffered serious damage. At present, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads is carrying out repair work on the territory of the region.
As a result of enemy shelling in the Terter region, one highway of republican importance and six roads of local importance were damaged. Today, restoration work is underway on a 4.1-kilometer section of the Barda-Istisu national road, including the laying of asphalt concrete pavement.
