Construction work has begun on a 66-kilometer section of the Khudaferin-Gubadly-Lachin highway between the Khudafarin reservoir and the village of Khanlyg. The road will cover more than 30 settlements of the region, including the cities of Gubadli and Lachin. This was reported by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
Excavation works are currently underway on this section of the road. It is noted that as part of the construction of the road, it is planned to build 5 bridges.
One of the construction contractors is the well-known Turkish company Polatyol Yapı San. ve Tic. A.Ş.
