Currently, a 7.5 km cycle path has been laid around the Seaside National Park. The length of the bicycle road network envisaged in the General Plan of the city of Baku will reach 63.5 km by 2023, and 251.2 km across Azerbaijan by 2040. Vusal Karimli, Chairman of the Board of the Baku Transport Agency, said this at the opening of the 6th Global Road Safety Week.
According to him, measures for the development of bike paths in Baku continue.
