According to the order signed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, given the importance of ensuring the unhindered movement of the population and the development of tourism, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads continues the reconstruction of the 30-kilometer section of Susay-Khinalig and the construction of a highway to the village of Gryz.
The construction of a new road with a total length of 58.8 km will connect eight settlements with a population of about 8000 people, as well as the village of Khinalig, located at an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level, with the Guba-Gusar highway. In addition, the construction of the road will expand the existing tourism potential and create new tourist routes.
