Road/transport infrastructure is being created in Lachin and Kelbajar regions

“Another important project has been launched. This is the Toganaly-Kelbajar road, which passes through very difficult terrain. Due to the elevation in some sections of 3500 meters, it is very difficult to use this road during the winter months. ” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this at a meeting dedicated to the results of 2020.
“Therefore, the construction of tunnels is meant. Relevant instructions have been given and this project is now being implemented. At the same time, an order was given to build a road from Horadiz to Zangilan, from there to Gubadli and then to Lachin region. Preparatory work is in progress. I must add that the road under construction from Toganaly to Kelbajar will continue to the Lachin region. Thus, from two sides – both from the north and from the south – we will create a road and transport infrastructure to the Lachin and Kelbajar regions, ”the president said.
