The design of a new automobile tunnel has been completed

The development of a new automobile tunnel project, which is planned to be built as part of the expansion of the Baku-Sumgayit highway, has been completed, said Anar Najafli, head of the press service of the State Agency for Roads.
He noted that the project has already been submitted to the relevant structures: “After the approval of the project, construction work will begin. The tunnel is being built to eliminate congestion at the entrance to the capital. It will be built from the Baku International Bus Station, will pass under the Baku Circular-1 highway, and stretch to Sharifzade Street in the Yasamal district of Baku. This will unload traffic from Moskovsky Prospekt during peak hours. ”
