On June 14, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for a tunnel to be built on the section of the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway passing through the territory of the Dashalty village.
Two tunnels will be built on this section, each of which will be two-lane. The length of each of the tunnels will be 530 meters, width – 12 meters, and the length of the 4- and 6-lane Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha road will be 81 kilometers.
