The construction of a 24-kilometer section Alpan – Kyurkun – Susay of the new Guba – Susay – Khinalig road has been completed, said Anar Najafli, head of the press service of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads. According to him, at present, construction work continues in the direction of Susay – Khinalig.
“This section of the road passes through an area with difficult terrain at an altitude of 1,500 – 2,500 meters above sea level. Therefore, construction work was suspended in winter. Next year, it is planned to complete the construction of a 30-kilometer section of Susay – Khinalig and a 4-kilometer section of the road to the village of Gryz, ”Najafli said.
