Iranian citizens wishing to arrive in Azerbaijan from today will not be able to apply for an electronic visa (e-visa to Azerbaijan). This is evidenced by a special section on the official portal: evisa.gov.az – when requesting an electronic visa, the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran receive the message:
Due to the absence of the selected country of nationality in the list of e-visa eligible countries the visa issuance has failed. For more information it is recommended to approach an embassy or a consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
