The State Historical-Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve “Khinalig” in Azerbaijan is included in the preliminary list of candidates for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This was reported in the State Tourism Agency.
The document submitted to the organization through the National Commission of UNESCO for Azerbaijan and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO reflects the assessment of the Khinalig Nature Reserve according to the criteria, as well as the rationale for including the reserve on the World Heritage List.
