Restoration and conservation work has begun in the 14th-century ancient Multani caravanserai in Icherisheher.
According to the Department of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher”, restoration and conservation work is carried out by specialists of the company Atelier Erich Pummer, which specializes in the restoration of historical monuments in Austria and over the past 10 years has been successfully carrying out large-scale work on the restoration of many important monuments of Icherisheher (including the Maiden tower, Palace complex of Shirvanshahs, Beylar Mosque, Gosha Gala Gate, Fortress Walls, Underground Bath, etc.).
The restoration work in the Multani caravanserai is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022.
