Three unique Azerbaijani carpets returned to their homeland

On December 11, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Arts in Baku hosted an event dedicated to the presentation of carpets purchased at the Sartirano fair in Italy and the 40th anniversary of the Jabrayil Region History and Local Lore Museum, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan reported.
It was emphasized at the event that one of the most famous Karabakh carpets “Chelebi” was transferred to the Shusha branch of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, and the “Guba” carpet to the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.
Another original carpet belonging to the group of Karabakh carpets will be donated to the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.
