The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has announced the results of environmental monitoring carried out in the Gubadli region.
The monitoring results showed that, besides the fact that all residential buildings and administrative buildings were destroyed in the Gubadli region, natural monuments and perennial trees were also destroyed there.
It was established that 150-300-year-old eastern plane trees and walnut trees, which were included in the lists of natural monuments of this zone, were destroyed and burned in the center of Gubadli. Also completely destroyed is a park of 2 hectares, in which Eldar pines and cypresses were planted in the 60-70s of the last century.
